17-02-2009 Esvagt Don and Esvagt Connector to support Capricorn Energy Limited in Greenland

The multi-role standby vessels Esvagt Don and Esvagt Connector have been awarded a contract by Capricorn Energy Limited. The company which has headquarters in Edinburgh, operates as a subsidiary of Cairn Energy PLC UK. The vessels will support the operator's drilling campaign West of Greenland during the summer drilling window 2010.

The vessels will perform ice management, towing, standby and oil recovery duties in support of the semi-submersible drilling rig Stena Don and the drill ship Stena Forth.
